My journey with bees began long before the first hive was ever placed. For years, honeybees seemed to seek me out, landing and lingering for moments of quiet connection. This fascination turned into a mission: to understand, protect, and advocate for these vital pollinators.
Rooted in Community
While military life brought my family to Maryland, it was the local community that made it our home base. Since starting my apiary in 2022, I have become deeply involved in the local ecosystem, currently serving as the Vice President of the Anne Arundel Beekeepers Association (AABA) and maintaining active membership in BUMBA, MCBA, and MSBA.
The Apimaye Standard
My transition to becoming the exclusive Apimaye dealer for Maryland was born out of necessity. After seeing how the streamlined, insulated design of these hives transformed the health of my own apiary, I realized our local community lacked a nearby source for this world-class equipment. I decided to bridge that gap.
